This fab novelty Victorian silver-gilt fob watch key in the shape of a horse's hoof is beautifully detailed, even showing the horse’s hair feathering over the hoof and the fetlock, and the frog of the horse's hoof. Dating to the 1880's or so, it measures measures 58 mm long and is in good condition. a quirky find, it would be a talking point either decorating a neck chain, charm bracelet or fob watch chain.
